This is a simulation of a rotating 4 dimensional Cube, otherwise known as a Tesseract.

What you are seeing is it Rotating. It is not being distorted, reshaped, or anything like that. it is simply Rotating - It appears to be distorted because you are only seeing the ‘projection’ of it. similarly if you rotated a 3D cube infront of lamp the shadow you would see would appear to distort.

“As a young, straight, and (apparently) attractive male teacher, if just one of those girls had gone to the administration and claimed I said something or touched her, I would have been crucified without hesitation nowadays. But when I told them about that contest - they laughed, and said kids will be kids. So I stopped offering one-on-one help during lunch periods, didn’t do before- or after-school study sessions either. I couldn’t afford to ever be alone with a female student. Any study sessions I did hold, I required at least five students to sign up, and we’d study at a table in the middle of the library - with me standing on the opposite side of the table, so I couldn’t be accused of playing footsie. I had to think through anything I was going to say five or six times to make sure it couldn’t be misconstrued from any angle. I had to keep those kids at a ten-foot distance, literally and figuratively, and I knew that it made me less-then-effective as an educator. I wouldn’t joke with them, wouldn’t ask how their weekend was, wouldn’t show up to their sports games if they asked. It killed me, because a lot of these kids just needed someone who was an authority figured that cared, but I couldn’t allow myself to be it. And I hated the administration for it, because their refusal to support me meant that I had to cover my own ass, at the expense of the kids.
And a semester after I started teaching, I walked away. Maybe I’ll go back to it, but it’s been over three years now, and when I sit down and think about what to do after I get out of the Marine Corps, teaching is nowhere near the top of the list. As much as I love teaching, I won’t put my neck on the block like that again…”

Thankfully the top posts haven’t said about feminism giving dedicated male teachers a bad rap… so far. If more people know how patriarchal ideas affect men, then feminism wouldn’t get such a bad rap. It’s a tragedy how many men got scared out of becoming teachers due to their lack of prestige and respect.

TLDR; It’s hard out there for a male teacher yo.

Until 40 years ago, Catholic and protestant establishments in the Netherlands were separate from one another as a result of Pillarisation, a widespread politico-denominational segregation. Churches, supermarkets, and other public places were segregated by religious and political beliefs.

All of this sets the scene to the story of Protestant Colonel J.C.P.H of Aeffderson and Catholic noblewoman J.W.C Van Gorkum. Their marriage would’ve caused a storm of scandal back in the 19th century. Not only was it religiously mixed, but they were from two very different social classes. However, despite all of the taboo in 19th century society, the couple’s marriage lasted for 40 years, only ending with the colonel’s death.

Eight years later, when his wife passed away, her wishes dictated that she wanted to be buried next to her husband. Pillarisation was still in effect at the time, and according to the law, this was impossible. However, with a little creative stonework, both Husband and wife were linked eternally together in a different way.
